An inspection with non-destructive testing procedures was conducted in a council potable reservoir. It was suspected that the internal overflow pipework may have developed a leak.
After extensive inspection and dye testing on the overflow pipework, the TAG team investigated the possibility of the external pipework or valves being the source of the leak. An inspection camera was used to identify a faulty gate valve being the cause.
To carry out the necessary repair of the valve, TAG divers re-entered the reservoir to block off the overflow while the repairs were carried out. Â
TAG Diving was able to provide another water tight solution. Â Â Â Â Â
